I did my law studies at the Faculty of Law of ELTE, as well as in Belgium, Germany, Portugal and the United States. In addition to my law degree in Hungarian law, I also obtained an LL.M degree at Suffolk University Law School in Boston, in international business law, and I am currently participating in an LL.M program in energy law at Károli Gáspár University.
I established my own firm, Dr Zalán-Lipák Law Firm (abbreviated name is ZLJ Law Firm) in 2015 after spending many years of practice at various magic circle law firms with international clientele where I obtained the necessary experience. My aim was to be able to make use of my passion for law, business and consultancy and my relating experience in a value-driven environment which meets the requirements of our digital age, which is flexible enough and which can adapt to the changing needs of our clients and our colleagues more and more coming form generation Z.

My primary focus is corporate law and M&A (mergers&acquisitions), on which areas I have participated in leading roles in large scale cross-border transactions both in private and corporate counselling environments. Furthermore, I gained extensive experienc in IP / IT / data protection law, capital markets law, energy law, labor law and financial law both in connection with transactions and also on a stand-alone basis.
My goal is to represent both the client and the person turning to me, providing real support instead of mere service.

Csilla Szentpétery

Office manager & business consultant

I spent 35 years in international trade as an employee and then the leader of the Hungarian operations of a Japanese-owned general trading company group. After graduating from university in Russian and English language majors, I also obtained a degree in foreign trade and successfully passed a language exam in Japanese language.
Considering my professional background, establishing and nurturing business relationships as well as the international environment and the daily use of foreign languages have always been key to me. I negotiate with my clients coming from all over the world in Hungarian, English, Russian and Japanese.
Following my retirement in 2019, I find it a new challenge to provide business and administrative support to a young and vibrant law firm. I believe that my decades of experience and the precision I have gained from Japanese corporate culture can bring valuable synergies to the talented lawyers I am working with.
